Dreamhack 2017

We had massively successful time at Dreamhack 2017 at our booth this last weekend. We were able to finally give players the opportunity to try out a demo of our game with multiplayer and received rave reviews and praise for it. We received tons of feedback which we’ve been reviewing and analyzing diligently to incorporate as many of our fans ideas into Knights of the Drowned Table as possible. During the event we got to talk with so many wonderful, friendly people and even made many new fans from the event. RillyBoss Studios ended up being in the top 3 of the Game Pitch Contest at Dreamhack! Everyone here at RillyBoss studios wants to thank all who attended and who came to our booth to try out the game and look forward to giving you a final taste of the real deal very soon. We Don’t Bite!

We’ve finally been able to release our Knights of the Drowned Table BrightLocker and Steam game pages to the public. The game itself is currently not up for download yet, though we may have some surprises coming out soon! We are very happy about the release of both of these pages as they are huge milestones in our development and are encouraged by their release. It’s taken some time to get everything set up but we are ready to start showcasing the game and its progress on these social platforms!

The Climb

It took a lot of prep and sweat to get the game to where it is now, but it’s far from finished and we have a deadline we need to meet to make sure all of you are able to play the game in time for Christmas! We’re currently developing our next two levels plus a multiplayer PvP level or two before the release. Right now we have a creepy and dark filled level in the works with tons of action and interesting puzzles! Our development blogs will be showing off their work soon on what our concepts and thoughts are for the coming objectives and game levels. PAX 2017

Finally, we’d like to officially announce that we will be attending PAX 2018 in two booths in San Antonio! We’ve worked hard to get to this point and will have a fully released game to demo by this time in January as well. We are highly encouraged by everyone’s genuine interest in our game and can’t wait to show off our fully developed game for PAX. Polish, Repeat

With the team wrapping up our first level, polish passes are soon upon us. This means going back through and polishing things we were overlooking before and optimizing them to look presentable and astounding to players. From creating all new props to changing code, our team is busting their butts to give players the best experience in both looks and game-play that we possibly can. That being said, we've begun preparations and development on both our 'waiting room' for the start of the game before players choose their quests, and also our second level which is set to be inside a castle! More on these developments to come in the next two weeks so keep a lookout for our dev and community posts!

RillyBoss on Brightlocker

We have so much to present to the world already with our game and we can't wait for people to see it first hand. We want everyone to see our progress and plan to have players play a part in the development process through our recent partnership with Brightlocker. Our team has been hard at work creating the content, images, and rewards for our new Brightlocker page and hope to get everyone involved and as excited as we are during the development of the game. Brightlocker will give players a chance to help us out by having opportunity to direct how we develop the game or being a part of it, donating, and getting rewards for your contributions! Its really awesome so check us out and we thank you for your support!

Visit Our Booth!

Last week we discussed that we would be attending Dreamhack this year, and we would like to invite you to join us and visit our booth for a chance to win an Oculus Rift, try out our game, and get cool swag! Our team has been working very hard to prepare for this event, not only from a developers standpoint, but designing our banners and props for the event as well. The event will be held at the National Western Complex from October 20th - 22nd. Our entire team will be there every day answering questions, giving out positive vibes, and awesome swag! We can't wait to see you at our booth!

Emergence

For those who don’t know, RillyBoss Studios recently attended an event in Denver to once again show off our demo of Knights of the Drowned Table. We received some fantastic feedback from both game developers and fans alike and have been working diligently to implement the ideas and suggestions we’ve received. As a team, we’ve taken this feedback from the events we’ve done and have discussed in depth about how we want the game to look and feel. I’m proud to say we have some exciting new features in the works and we thank you all whom visited us and took the time to give us feedback!

Work, Work, Work

Since our last community update we’ve been very hard at work conceptualizing and developing Knights of the Drowned Table from the ground up. We’ve put our best minds to work on coding, constructing, and modeling a stunning new environment that we can’t wait to show off. Our artists have been busy making hundreds of new props, textures, and other art to put together our first full level which is set to be in the middle of the desert. We have all new enemies, characters, objectives, animations, and audio in the works to make sure you have the most immersive and enjoyable virtual reality experience. Keep an eye out for our developer updates for more on their behind the scenes process!

Site Updates

If you hadn’t noticed, we’ve spruced up our front page a bit and we hope to continue adding features including a page dedicated to our new game, Knights of the Drowned Table, very soon. With this new format we aim to make navigation and accessibility of the blog posts, games, and other site features smooth and seamless. We’ve set up a community and support Discord chat that we will be posting a link to on the website very soon for everyone to access and provide feedback, talk to developers, and interact with fellow fans with. Developing the Dry & Arid

With the team hard at work on creating incredible looking characters and props for the last two months, construction of the our first level has been underway and is nearing completion. We’ve conceptualized and designed several objectives for the players to accomplish during the level to complete one final goal. Each objective is set to have its own unique look and style with brand new enemies and encounters to keep the player alert and on their toes. With that in mind, we’ve created some captivating desert scenery to entice your senses and get you immersed in the game.

Big Things Are Coming

With our first level nearing completion we’ve been eager to let players test it out, so we’ve booked an event at Dreamhack Denver to showcase Knights of the Drowned Table on October 20th – 22nd! We are very excited to give players a first hand look at the work that we’ve been producing and can’t wait to show it off. We will be attending with our own RillyBoss Studios booth where people can win prizes, get RillyBoss swag, and test out the game with multiple players!
